Terms of Service

1. Overview

BanksDeals is an independent community tool for discovering card-linked offer sightings from United States bank and card offer programs. We help users search merchants, review offers that have been seen by others, and decide which U.S. bank app or card program to check before a purchase.

BanksDeals may also show credit card, bank program, or card-linked offer recommendations related to a merchant, offer, search, or optional saved card product profile, including card products that a user has not saved in their BanksDeals account. A saved card product profile means the card name or type selected from our catalog, not a full card number or payment credential.

BanksDeals is not a bank, card issuer, payment network, merchant, broker, financial advisor, or offer provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by American Express, Chase, Bank of America, Citi, Capital One, or any other bank, issuer, card network, or merchant unless we clearly state otherwise.

BanksDeals supports the United States market only. The service is not intended for users located outside the United States or for non-U.S. bank, card, or merchant offer programs.

2. No Guaranteed Offer Availability

Offers shown on BanksDeals are informational reports, not guarantees. Bank offer programs can be targeted, personalized, localized, card-specific, time-limited, or subject to account status. An offer seen by one user may not be available to another user, even if they use the same bank or card family.

Always confirm availability, activation requirements, expiration dates, eligible cards, merchant eligibility, and full terms directly in your bank app, bank website, card issuer account, or merchant checkout before making a purchase.

3. User Content and Community Reports

Users may submit offer sightings, descriptions, terms, expiration dates, votes, corrections, screenshots, comments, or other content. You are responsible for the content you submit. You should submit only accurate information that you are allowed to share.

By submitting content, you grant BanksDeals a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, modify, summarize, extract structured data from, and use that content to operate, improve, and promote the service.

This license is for offer and community content you are permitted to submit. It does not mean BanksDeals wants, requests, or knowingly accepts bank credentials, full card numbers, CVV codes, PINs, account numbers, or other sensitive financial information.

We may review, edit, reject, remove, hide, de-prioritize, or reclassify user content at any time, including content that appears inaccurate, stale, duplicated, misleading, unlawful, promotional, abusive, or inconsistent with these Terms.

4. Screenshot and Sensitive Information Rules

If BanksDeals supports screenshot submission or AI-assisted extraction, do not upload screenshots that contain bank login credentials, full card numbers, security codes, account numbers, balances, legal names, addresses, phone numbers, private messages, or any other sensitive personal or financial information.

Screenshot and extraction features, if offered, are intended only for offer details. We may reject or delete submissions that appear to contain sensitive personal or financial information.

We may use automated tools, including small language or vision models, to extract merchant names, offer values, dates, and terms from screenshots. You must review extracted information before submission. Automated extraction may be wrong.

5. Bank Policies and Proper Use

You agree not to use BanksDeals to violate any bank, issuer, merchant, payment network, or third-party policy. Do not submit content obtained through unauthorized access, credential sharing, circumvention of technical controls, automated scraping that violates another service's rules, or any method you are not permitted to use.

BanksDeals does not ask for your bank login credentials, full card number, CVV, PIN, one-time passcodes, or online banking session data. Do not provide that information to us or to other users.

6. No Financial Advice

BanksDeals provides general informational content. We do not provide financial, legal, tax, credit, or purchasing advice. You are responsible for deciding whether to use a card, activate an offer, apply for a credit card, make a purchase, or rely on any offer information.

7. Credit Card Recommendations and Applications

BanksDeals may recommend, rank, compare, or highlight credit cards or card programs based on merchant searches, offer sightings, card catalog data, optional saved card product selections, affiliate availability, or paid partner relationships. A recommendation that appears near a merchant or offer does not mean you are eligible for that card, that you are prequalified or preapproved, or that the related merchant offer will be available to you after approval.

BanksDeals does not make credit decisions, issue cards, set credit limits, determine APRs or fees, approve applications, provide account servicing, or decide whether a bank offer applies to your account. Card applications, approvals, rates, fees, rewards, welcome bonuses, and offer eligibility are controlled by the applicable issuer and are subject to that issuer's current terms.

Before applying for any card, review the issuer's current application, pricing, rewards, eligibility, and fee disclosures. Consider the full card terms, including APRs, annual fees, credit inquiry effects, rewards limitations, and your own financial situation, not only a merchant offer that may appear on BanksDeals.

8. Affiliate Links and Paid Relationships

BanksDeals may later include affiliate links, paid links, ads, sponsored placements, or other monetized features, including credit card application links. We may receive compensation from banks, card issuers, merchants, affiliate networks, advertising partners, or other third parties when you click a link, apply for a card, are approved, open an account, make a qualifying purchase, or complete another qualifying action.

Compensation may affect whether a product appears on BanksDeals, where it appears, or how it is labeled, but paid relationships should not be interpreted as bank, issuer, network, or merchant endorsement of BanksDeals. When we receive compensation for a recommendation, link, or placement, we intend to disclose that relationship clearly and close to the relevant content. This Terms page supplements those disclosures and is not a substitute for disclosures shown near paid recommendations or links.

9. Accounts and Eligibility

You may browse much of BanksDeals without an account. Some features, such as saved card product selections, submissions, votes, or profile settings, may require an account. You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and for activity under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to use BanksDeals. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.

You may use BanksDeals only if you are located in the United States. Do not use BanksDeals if you are located outside the United States.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, unlawful, infringing, or unauthorized content.
• Upload sensitive financial information or another person's private information.
• Impersonate another person, bank, issuer, merchant, or BanksDeals representative.
• Interfere with the service, security controls, rate limits, or other users.
• Use the service to distribute spam, malware, scams, or abusive content.
• Use bots, scripts, browser extensions, crawlers, scrapers, or automated tools to collect, copy, monitor, or build datasets from BanksDeals merchant, offer, program, sitemap, page, or API data without our prior written permission.
• Use public search, merchant detail, offer preview, sitemap, or API endpoints for bulk enumeration, competitive intelligence, resale, or republication of BanksDeals data.
• Bypass, probe, avoid, disable, or overload robots directives, rate limits, access controls, abuse-detection systems, or other technical protections.
• Cache, mirror, frame, republish, or train systems on substantial portions of BanksDeals data except where allowed by law or approved by us in writing.
• Reverse engineer or copy the service in a way that harms BanksDeals or violates law.

Our robots.txt file, sitemap, API behavior, search limits, and public page availability do not grant permission for automated collection or bulk use. We may limit, suspend, block, or investigate activity that appears to violate these Terms or threaten the reliability of the service.

11. Intellectual Property

BanksDeals and its original content, design, software, and branding are owned by BanksDeals or its licensors. Bank, issuer, card network, merchant, and program names may be trademarks of their respective owners. Their appearance on BanksDeals is for identification and informational purposes only.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

BanksDeals may link to bank apps, issuer websites, merchant websites, affiliate partners, or other third-party services. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, terms, privacy practices, offer decisions, card applications, underwriting, transactions, fulfillment, rewards, bonuses, or statement credits.

13. Disclaimers

BanksDeals is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that offer information is complete, accurate, current, available to you, or error-free. We do not warrant that credit card recommendations are suitable for you, available to you, or based on all cards or offers in the market. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of defects.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BanksDeals will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost savings, lost rewards, missed offers, failed redemptions, denied statement credits, purchases made in reliance on inaccurate content, card application outcomes, credit decisions, account terms, rewards decisions, or third-party actions.

15. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify BanksDeals from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your submitted content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

16. Changes and Termination

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of BanksDeals at any time. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Continued use of the service after updates means you accept the updated Terms.
