How It Usually Works

1. 1Open the Amex Offers section in an online account or the American Express App.
2. 2Add the offer to an eligible Card before the purchase.
3. 3Use the same enrolled Card for a qualifying purchase with the participating merchant.
4. 4Rewards are applied to the account after American Express receives qualifying purchase information.

Eligibility and Stacking Notes

American Express says only U.S.-issued consumer and business Cards may be eligible, while specific offers vary by Card, Card Member, and account history. Corporate, prepaid, reloadable, gift, and non-U.S. cards are outside this guide unless American Express expressly designates them. The tracked cards below follow American Express public consumer and small business card listings, plus current partner Platinum variants.

Amex Offers are separate offer rewards. A qualifying purchase can still earn the card’s normal rewards when the Card agreement and individual offer terms allow it.

Common Exclusions

• American Express Corporate Cards
• American Express Gift Cards and other prepaid or reloadable products
• Cards issued outside the United States, unless expressly designated by American Express
• Accounts that are canceled, suspended, or restricted at the time of fulfillment
