Card-linked offers

What Are Card-Linked Offers?

Card-linked offers are merchant-specific bank or card offers that can add statement credits, cash back, points, miles, or discounts when you use an eligible card under the offer terms.

How They Usually Work

A bank or card issuer shows an offer for a merchant inside its app, website, or offer surface. The cardholder may need to activate the offer before purchase. If the purchase meets the merchant, date, amount, channel, and card requirements, the reward may post later according to the program terms.

Why Availability Varies

Card-linked offers are often targeted. Two people can use the same bank and still see different offers. Availability may depend on account history, card product, location, purchase channel, offer inventory, activation status, or timing.

That is why BanksDeals treats each result as an offer sighting. A sighting tells you where an offer has been seen, not whether it is guaranteed for your account.

How to Use Sightings Safely

Step 1

Search the merchant

Start with the store, restaurant, travel brand, or online shop you plan to use.

Step 2

Review recent sightings

Look for the bank offer programs, values, dates, and channels reported for that merchant.

Step 3

Confirm in your bank app

Check whether the offer appears on your own card or account, then review the terms.

Step 4

Activate before purchase

If the bank requires activation, activate first and pay with the eligible card.

What to Check Before You Buy

  • The offer is visible in your own bank app or issuer account.
  • The offer is activated if activation is required.
  • The purchase channel, merchant, minimum spend, and expiration date match the terms.
  • You pay with the eligible card tied to the offer.
